PAVM145 chip operating at D-band (110-170 GHz) consists of 3 Broadband Balanced Cascode (BBC) Amplifiers including 3-stage PA, 3-stage LNA and 2-stage General Purpose Amplifier. For the purpose of single to differential conversion, Marchand Baluns (MBLs) are implemented with the corresponding performance evaluation structures and RF pads to make it suitable for probe measurements. This chip shows a linear behavior in terms of frequency and drive power within a simulated 3dB bandwidth of about 55 GHz.
In the meantime, we are in the chipsets assembly phase to get the demonstrator ready for verification. Promising results are expected in the upcoming period.
